Springbank Primary School has a happy and welcoming atmosphere, which is noticed by everybody who visits us.
The caring and nurturing relationships that begin in our assemblies, circle time and a programme of Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) help to promote mutual respect and consideration and courteous manners for others throughout the school community and in the wider world.
Our School Council, School Ambassadors and Squabble Busters carry out conflict resolution sessions with children in the playground which help to ensure that every child knows that he or she is cared for in our school.
We have a dedicated and highly trained team who work closely with parents and children to establish excellent links between home and school. Our Safequarding Officer who is a qualified counsellor is available to offer advice and support to families on a wide range of topics.
Our in-house SENCO manages a dedicated "Special Educational Needs" team who are committed to ensuring that children with Special Needs and their families receive the extra care, support and information they need. Our local offer is published on the website and linked to the NCC SEN offer website.
