Water Picnic Lunch. 

All children are invited to stay for a picnic. There will be lots of splashing and fun! Parents and carers are welcome too. A letter with more information will follow. A new date will be set if the weather is not suitable.

17.06.19 Launch Day.

An opportunity for the children who are joining our school family next term to experience the EYFS provision and get to know the team.

Year 4 Performing Macbeth

This year, Year 4 will be performing the Shakespeare play Macbeth. Please join us if you can.

Thinking Thursday – Computing

All elements of computing will be taught throughout the day, Parents/carers will have the opportunity to join a lesson with their child on this day between 9.00-10.00am or 2.00-3.00pm.

Early Years’ Dance Showcase

Please come and join us to watch your child or children take part in the dance showcase. Timetable to follow.


Year 6Graduation and Prom –

The graduation will start at 1:30pm Please arrive for 1:15pm The graduation ceremony will last approximately 1 hour.

Fabulous Friday – Work Related Learning

Today at school we will be exploring the world of work, inviting visitors from different industries and thinking about our aspirations for the future.

Week beginning 08.07.19 Reception, Y2 & Y6 Annual reports to parents. Reports will be distributed at some point during this week when results are confirmed. You will receive a text to confirm the day.

Y5 Taster Day at Hall Park Academy.

Parents and carers please note your children will need to be collected from Hall Park Academy on this day.

10.07.19 EYFS Performance and Graduation.Cap and gowns will be provided for the graduation ceremony. Starting at 10:30am.Please arrive for 10:15am in the school hall. Photographs will take place in the foundation unit after the event. Full details to follow.

Music Showcase

Please come and join us to watch your children take part in a musical showcase. The programme of events will follow. Please note that this year classes will be showcasing throughout the day. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE SUCCESS OF THIS SHOWCASE YEAR 3 AND 4 WILL PERFORM IN THE MORNING AND YEAR 5 AND 6 EARLY AFTERNOON. LUNCH WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PARENTS WHO HAVE CHILDREN IN BOTH SESSIONS.

Sports Award Assembly – 1:00pm

Starting at 1:00pmParents will be notified by text if your child is receiving an award in this assembly.

14.07.19- 18.07.19 Hathersage Residential Trip. We will once again be going on our residential trip to Hathersage. Letters will be sent out with full details in the autumn term.  We can’t wait!

Forest School and DT Project Week

Whilst the children are enjoying the residential trip to Hathersage the rest of the school will be taking part in a range of activities for their outside learning and planned D.T. projects within class.

Diversity Festival: We will be celebrating the diversity of life in our society.

23.07.19 Attendance trips will take place for children that have achieved 100% attendance for the whole school year. EYFS, Year 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 will go on a shopping trip to Morrisons. This year the trip will also include refreshments in the café.  Year 5 will be going to a luxurious day out in December 2019. Year 6 will have the chance to spend online and choose a gift of their choice. Please remember 100% attendance includes attending school on this day. 
23.07.19 Achievement Assembly Starting at 1:00pm for the first year group. Parents/carers will be notified of theapproximatestart time for your child’s class. There will be refreshments served in the staffroom for parents who wish to wait.

Possible locations – Bridlington, Twin Lakes and Rushcliffe Country Park.
