Our start and finish times of the day are annually reviewed by the Governing Body. The last review took place in December 2016 with changes being agreed on the timing of the school day after requests from a number of parents.
Government guidelines suggest that children should be taught for a certain amount of hours per week, depending on their age. 21 hours for pupils aged between five and seven, 23.5 hours for pupils aged between seven and eleven. This does not include breaktime, registration, or assemblies.
Childcare before and after school is available from local nurseries and child minders in the area.
